Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) is widespread across the United States and most of North America. In comparison to other Fox species, the Red Fox is larger and considered to be more adaptable to new environments. 45 Subspecies of Red Fox have been described. They are usually found in pairs or in small groups including their young. Red Fox feed primarily on rodents, but also hunt rabbits, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates. Red Fox may be hunted by wolves, coyotes, jackals and medium-large felines. The juvenile fox is called a pup or a kit. The adult Red Fox measures about 18 to 35 inches in length and 4.9 to 30.9 pounds in weight. They have maximum running speeds of 50 mph. While their sense of hearing is exceptional, their sense of vision is excellent, reacting mainly to movement.
These Red Fox kits at play were photographed at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, in the late afternoon on 5-18-2012. I used a Nikon D7000 camera body and a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR2...
