The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

The Lightship Overfalls, was the last lightship built for the U.S. Lighthouse Service and is now docked along the canal front in historic Lewes, Delaware. A lightship is a ship that acts as a lighthouse. They are used in waters that are too deep or otherwise unsuitable for lighthouse construction and could be readily repositioned to suit changing needs. The Lightship Overfalls is one of only 17 remaining lightships out of a total of 179 built from 1820 to 1952 and is one of seven lightships in this country still open to the public.

Nature has always played a significant role in my life.
